Good call on the momo wheel. They feel great.

They really do
Makes the driving experience more pleasurable :)

Also I should thank Nick for helping me with the install of the wheel, made it much easier cause I knew what modify to make it work

Looking good Rob on all counts bar the hairy legs. :)

I just bought the same steering wheel. :)

Legs ready for summer :P

Good one, least it's a straight swap over for your car. Simples

Good stuff, bro!

Where are you getting the alignment done?
I know a bloke in WoyWoy. I'm getting one done mid week and I'm going to hit him up for a club discount..
50 for a 4 wheel alignment for Subyclub members.

Nice bloke & knows his shit, old school. Only does alignments.

In fact, a lot of workshops & tyre shops around here send their work to him.

Can't wait to see the pics..... Phone is killing me.

Cheers!

I went to heasmans Last time and I'll probably go back cause I'm
Interested to see if they can do like the corner weighting and shit

$50 bucks is a really good price for a 4 wheel alignment,
I paid $120 last time

About time you put that seal in the exhaust !

Haha yeah, sounds so much better

I can hear some noise from the front still but I think it's just normal

I only bought it for the black momo centre which I prefer over my silver one and the plastic trim. Sell the wheel itself with my silver badge airbag.

Cheers guys :)

Bit of a driveline update
The car is getting a bit on at 250,000 and gearbox at well over 350,000 so I decided to refresh everything so it's running mint up until I convert

Engine burns and Leaks a decent amount of oil
And the has typical 2.2 dak dak

The gearbox is noisy and crunchy in most gears and leaks a bit itself

So I've sourced a ej22 motor out of a 96 model which appears to be the model when they got rid of the hla's so I'm able to adjust valve clearances now
Only 111,000 km's on this motor, bit dirty on the outside but seems mint on the inside

Would like to thank Matt for the gearbox and all the other goodies I've got of him :)

4.44 v4 sti gearbox,
Diff
Shafts
Clutch
Fidenza flywheel
Master and Slave for clutch
Hydraulic wrx pedal box
And probably other heaps of good stuff just can't remember

45FC760E-5597-4D8E-980E-0C5082AAB5D2_1.j

Everything will be getting a good clean up and paint where needed, will replace most of the external oil seals on motor, gearbox and diff

Also got a kartboy pitch mount off Cliffo for a steal :)

And that's about it for now
Probably won't get a change to install it till the new year but gives me time to prepare everything :)

I originally intended to build a hybrid motor 2.5 block and 2.2 heads but had some issues with the config, this motor will be way more reliable than any hybrid build anyway :)

Gotta love the 22 dak noises. Thankfully my 25 is nice and quiet.

Drive line should be sweet for a 207 when the time comes ;)

Will a 4 bolt box bolt up to a 207?

If so I'll decide at the time

Would love a dccd 6 speed

4 bolts means less doing and undoing to get it in and out :P
