I wouldn't stress...I never once activated the abs on the gen3 and I abused those brakes and never locked up except for over bumps and getting air with the front tyres lol....though will see how that works with the light weight rs and brembos lol

If and when you order that master I am so in for one aswell ;)

And did I not give you the sti footrest? If not I should still have it?

Fitted to svx and v2 wrx sti?)
So yeah could be interesting to find a second handy

Yeah didn't really consider that, with the locking up
I'm really happy with the spec b brakes currently, so it won't be for a while yet!

I prefer the spec b brakes to brembos, much nicer pedal feel. I basically only got them for the bling

Nothing to do with being compatible with the booster as any suby (as in libs, imprezas etc) will fit up to it.....its the number of ports out of the master thats the problem.....only 2 ports with an abs master like the ones in gd sti's.....where as for a non abs car ya need a 4 port master

And in that size (same as the gd master size) they are rare to find as rob said......we both want one but only have a part number through the us to find them.....so its a suck it and see I spose....im sure one of us will bite the bullet soon though lol

Oh and Rob.....top work mate.....so keen to see her all freshened up!

Wrap that amp cable black.....

Or better yet....run it into the passenger side guard along the main loom and in behind the dash though a grommet (should be a spare one if its like the rs?)

That way only a couple inches is visible in the bay ;)

That would mean running a new cable, fork that

Package arrived just as I was about to put the motor in
Got some intake spacers
05722F10-991E-4D53-B03D-3FA546FCD80B.jpg

Dropped the motor in and roughly mounted the ps res just for the time being
655DB91F-DA48-4483-9752-D0C5366F65D8.jpg

Went to fit the gearbox up and couldn't get it to mate up
Fitted the thrust bearing to the gearbox and lubed everything up but still no good
So if anybody has any tips or ideas that would be awesome

Clutch centering tool used?

I've never had an issue with Suby clutches.

You're shit.

Did you have front of the motor jacked up?

May need to turn the input shaft slightly to get the spline to line up

Checked for extra dowels stuck in motor or box

Yep used one

You jerk

Yep motor was jacked up
Did turn the shaft a Bit

The dowel is a high possibility

As the gearbox physically couldn't go any further
