Damn that engine looks out-of-the-box clean.

I can't offer any advice on the gearbox other than wiggle the fork out of it while having some pressure pushing it into place.

Maybe try tilting the engine back a little. Try not to be too heavy handed with it as you can bend the clutch plate with too much movement.

Gearbox in!

Just needed a bit more angle on the motor and a bit more force
Cheers for the help


Got most of the engine bay back together now

Turns out the sti cluster dosnt work with the series 1 Liberty wiring

Will do some fondling and I'll get it working


And it runs!
Has no cv's or tailshaft but the engine starts

Although the kartboy pitch mount and group n bush do create a bit of vibration

It's all wired up as it use to be

When did the cluster happen?! It still had the chrome rings around it on the passenger seat at 5pm!

Good to see it all go back together. Best NA around ;)
