I have a similar sound on my B4, rattling sound but only at about 3000rpm, on boost, so could be heatshields. 

 

Good thing to check them all out anyway

Thanks guys. The car drives fine and I can't hear it while driving. My first thoughts was the cat but Ive never heard one thats cactus. Might be a good excuse to finally get an exhaust made up haha

Shame you're selling the car though, mine is the same color and trying my best to get it as close as possible to how nice yours looks.

Nice B4 BE4ORE. Your missing the centre piece of your front lip kit though.

I got under the car today and tapped around the cat and resonator. After narrowing it down to the sound coming from the resonator, I gave it a few more love taps and it sounded like a bolt? fell to the floor of the resonator and starting rolling about. Soooooo...exhaust upgrade haha
Anyone know how much im looking at for a 3" M/S centre pipe with new cat?

Yer, the center piece will cost me one of my kidney's so can't justify that yet hehe. but looking to upgrade my exhaust as well, especially the muffler... hate the cannon and how loud it is at the moment.
