I saw it.
DWI sell "grey market" camera's, that's why it's so cheap. If something goes wrong Canon Australia won't want to know about you.
Dwi still offers 12 months warranty.

That they do. But where and who is repairing it? Is it being sent back to hong kong to get fixed? Some guy in his shed? Who knows.
I used to sell cameras for a living and the grey market stuff would just shit me off. So many "if's and buts" with it.

I never really saw many with faults. You would get the odd one here and there but generally they are pretty good.

True. I obviously haven't thrown my gopros hard enough.
I might bring them to hVC
If I were spending maybe over 2k on a camera id prob go genuine Aussie parts. But grey import is almost worth the gamble on an entry level camera
