And once the tension is off the belt the only tension the cam wheels have is the valve springs
But they pull on and off easy enough and arent that hard to turn

Thanks dudes. Thinking of DIY timing belt change.

It's pretty easy if you have the tools.

Provide lunch and I'll come around,
Don't you want to replace the motor? Kinda pointless if so

Sad.
I might be time to do the inevitable, for the dogs sake.

That's where the decision is at. So sad.

It looks daunting but once you break it down into the small jobs it is, its fairly simple

Yeah subaru kits are awesome the belt has markings that you line up with markings on the pullys. Kris's prices are good too. Are you going to replace the cam seals and water pump?

Would be crazy to at least not replace the waterpump.

Some dude on the internet who i've never heard of mentions Perth? Whoa.

I know AMS is into the marrow thing, I like it, but it's more a show of oldschool technique I think rather than flavour. Just my humble opinion.

Yum! Loves me some well cooked marrow.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.
