*drools*

VERY nice ride, Mark. I love these JDM Gen3's. Cool body kit! Be careful not to scrape its chin on the ground.

Is this an auto or manual?

Auto, but not complaining for the driving I do. Plus its the sports shift with steering wheel gear select.

Lets hope it doesnt end up like my others and needs converting to manual. :D

I should tell the missus too that Ive bought it.......... :sarcastic:

I enjoy my auto, not without its issues though. If you accelerate, brake fast/decelerate nuke your boost then accelerate fast again (for example, catching the light just as it goes green). It'll lag up and the box will go WTF and wont be sure whether to kick back or not, or it'll kick back too late. I've learnt to drive around it though. Gives a sporty enough kick on occasion :P

Damn! I clearly need to get back in to a Gen 3... haha!

Can't wait to see what you do.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Nice work Mark!

Didn't think you would pass that one up. Had that of been available at the time i was buying, would've snapped it up. Looks to be a 2001+ model. Check under the oil cap.

Wonder how many Gen3 GTB's we can get in the one place at the one time! This makes number 4 actively on the forums at the moment. There's a nice looking Rev A-C near me somewhere, owner full rubbernecked me the other day when i passed him on the morning grind to work.

Look forward to pics! If you don't mind me asking Mark PM me how much you paid for it, interested to know as these things fetch VERY different prices.

Regarding a diffback muffler, the stock TT exhaust is whisper quiet. Mine has a Blitz NUR straight through muffler diffback, no louder than stock!

I paid 10k drive away with 8 months reg, rw and a few issues I picked fixed which were 3 door dents I could find pdr'd, front brake shudder under medium/hard braking and a knock over bumps on rhs front, sounds like swaybar link.

Timing belt done at 98k and 112k service just done both at Subaru.

Are 4 pot fronts standard?

Yeah standard on late models but up front only.. When Rev D and E came out they were all GTB ETunes. ETune2 was the very last of them. There was also an ETune2 S-Edition which had 4 pots and BBS wheels and possibly some other options. There were 3 levels of body kits aswell, version A, B and C. I think the RFRB kit was optional aswell. D-E RFRB grilles are very rare.

ETunes received a slight chassis rigidity upgrade and comp ratio went up to 9 or 9.5:1 for better economy but with the same power output. I believe the later ones were also 210kw in MT.

Its got 4 pots front, the later front end, black out cluster (is that late model?) and definitely doesnt look to be pieced together. I'll confirm when I pick it up next week.

Id say the ad's wrong??

Mark, yours will be somewhere between late 2000 and up to May 2001. After May 2001 it was E-Tune2 only.

Has it got woodgrain interior or just black?
