I'm surprised the Gen IV's don't have this stock. Dad's 2006 VY Berlina has it standard in his car. Good addition Mark.

Good point. I don't know where I pulled that from...

Regardless, it still has headlight sensors.

On small annoyance with the auto headlights is on a dull day going under an overpass the headlights will turn on. There's no delay for the switching.

Easily corrected with a compact, adjustable on delay circuit which you can buy for only a few $$. I'll be fitting this and set it for about 5 sec.

That's common for any auto headlight system isn't it? Mine always turn on in tunnels/underpasses etc

I just find it slightly annoying with overpasses, tunnels is to be expected. The delay timer will meet my requirements.

Nice little touch there Mark! I rikey!

Can you do me a quick flavour next time your in the footwell, can you measure the height and width of your brake pedal? I'm yet to fit my alloy/studded cover as my pedal is too big. Just want to confirm if D-E have slightly smaller pedals. Either the set I bought is from a GD (advertised as BH) or the D-E pedal is weenier.

Not really.

It depends on the logic programmed in the controller. One car I tested the other day needed the voltage at the ambient light sensor to be pulled to below 3.0v (5.0v reference) to trigger a change of state but didn't switch state from day to night until after 5s had elapsed.

What I find really cool is when (not all cars) you drive into a tunnel with high ambient light, too high to turn on headlamps, but the forward camera 'sees' the light pattern, figures out the car is in a tunnel and commands the headlamps on. Camera can also identify red tail lamps and dip high beam if you approach a vehicle from behind.

Been a while since I needed to swing some spanners on the GTB.

Pulled the intake manifold off as I could smell some fuel on the drivers side. Didn't find anything untoward but the brittle PCV pipe broke in the removal process and the PCV pipes were hard as fork and the intake pipe was split on the secondary inlet so all new parts enroute including all gaskets.

Turbo's are nice and clean and no play so that's good.
