Just chasing the stock brake specifications on a 2001 Subaru outback. 
Things like rotor size etc would be a great help


Anyway, torqued to spec is just the manuals way of saying 'we couldn't get it any tighter, see if you can'.

The best way to be sure is to pull the rotor off and measure the diameter. For example, Just because your 2.5 OBK car came out with 277mm rotors it doesn't mean it has them now, the previous owner could have upgraded to the 296mm H6 outback brakes.

 

Best to be sure if you are ordering & doing them yourself.  Piss easy job though.

Thanks for the info BOSSKONG, I highly doubt she upgraded them. Previous owner was a Grandma... haha
