Yes with the balance centered its off. The left is always much louder than the right. Did subaru intend for it to be that way?

You feel a click when its centered i've made sure of that. I was thinking of removing the amplifier and seeing if i could adjust values there if it was off It should be easy enough for me to do provided the amp allows

maybe your deaf in the right ear? And I know what wills talking Bout and it has to do with speaker positioning, it's normal. I battled with that from day 1 of owning the car,but u get over it eventually

Odd... mines not like that at all.... perhaps a bit of a bad connection or signal to one side of the car?

I dunno.. mine was always a bit stronger to the left.. but if you are using the stacker Will, it is definitely biased to the left.. I don't know why... but it shi*s me to tears..

If you sitting in the drivers seat of course it's going to sound louder on the left. It's pretty much directed straight at you while the drivers side is being muffled by you. I still get it and i've replaced all door speakers.

me too...

it's not to do with the balance of the output it's just that the left speakers aren't being blocked by anything and are firing directly into your head... but the ones on the right are being blocked by your legs...

Just spent 1/2 hour on each side. Brendan is right LEFT side is definitely louder with stacker, FM radio is fine both channels ROFL .... maybe its EFG CD recordings. I'm getting new cds now

I just did some interiour testing, I'm gonna try get my hands on some insulated cable and find out what connectors the stacker has. Problem seems either with the stacker or between the stacker and amp. loadin CD's into the head unit has perfect balance. Cheers Will C

Use the stacker as a wheel chock.. Worst investment ever.. It's a pain to use, I used to keep all my cd's in the centre console
