Brembo Brake Upgrade

Done a bit do research so far and sourced the KartBoy dog bone adapters for the rear. Also done some research on getting the DBA adapter rotors to accommodate the smaller rear hand brake.
So my questions are:
Up to what model Brembo calipers will it be a direct swap to my car. Also with braided lines, do I purchase a set to suit a wrx or the legacy?
Would I be able to do the swap myself?
Will my wheels clear the Brembo or will I be needing a new set of wheels too?
Thanks

Im not 100% but id aim for brembos from before an 04 STi as thats when they went to 5x114.3. I dont know if the bigger wheel bearing changes anything but its a good place to start looking until someone can confirm it.
Im not sure about brake lines. Im sure someone will know.
Can certainly do the swap yourself. I did my own brakes after reading a few DIYs. Its not as scary as you think
What wheels do you have?

Yeah it just seems like a daunting task tbh
And not sure on offset but there 18 inch, I'll have to check the paper work for them

Any front Brembo caliper from '02 til present fits and rear calipers from '02 - '08.
Purchase braided lines to suit your car.
Pic of rims? Need width and offset also.

Do you know what brand? If its a well known brand they will probably have spec sheets that list brake clearance as well or can just search for them.

erm maybe not as I think 05 would mean 5x114.3 unless the rims are multi stud

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.
