Hopefully the 05 will work. I'll go to the wreckers the next free weekend I have and have a look at what he's got and what will and won't fit.

So for the braided lines, would I be best to contact Subaru about them?

Subaru will bend you over for them. STI brake lines are pretty expensive. HEL brake lines are good from what ive heard

nothing* is exclusive to them, it's just the type of customer that goes to them for servicing or parts are the type not to know any better which enables them to charge so much.

* for the most part

Cheers guys! Will definitely speak to Dan and see what he has in stock/what I'll need as far as lengths and things. Probably get the rear rotors through them too?

05 should fit also. The change happened from MY06 onwards. If you aren't sure the wreckers should be able to measure the PCD of the rotors he has in stock.

not true. MY05 STI is 5x114.3. Only use PRE 05 brembos/rotors. Rears different obv due to R180

Yeah I looked into the stud pattern and turns out like you said the 05 STI is 5x114.3 but the standard 05 WRX is still 5x100 I believe

SO just wondering, what are the largest rotors that I'll be able to run with the 04 sti calipers and KartBoy dogbone adapters for the rear?

ah yep, thought that may be the case. So with the 330mm front rotors, there still a direct swap?

cant you just use the original lines. rubber lines in good condition will be just as effective unless you plan on racing, the expansion differences in the lines is negligible.
