John, yes mate you now have way less lines than a TT set up. I'm not exactly sure how many pills a single set up would have, I assume 2.

One in the vac line that runs to the T off the turbo (unless you have a manual boost tee fitted)And the second in the vac lines T'd into the line that runs off the BOV (Unless you have a single vac line from the manifold to an aftermarket BOV)

Correct my VF34 came brand new. One in the compressor pre T one after the T.

Probably best to squeeze & check each line as you replace them.  Make sure you do only one line at a time to avoid :fork: ups.

You won't need 10 meters of line either. Maybe half that, or less even.

Be careful not to snap any connector nipples when you are removing lines from plastic connections. Best to cut them off.... carefully.

Any questions? If you get stuck just post up some photos of your problems here and we'll be able to help.

Thanks heaps BOSS

But yep, got a turbosmart boost tee fitted. Whereas the BOV is still factory.

It is a bit messy at the moment and can't wait to clean it up and get it at least half decent as yours... Love what you've done to it!

I was thinking of going blue in color and will be getting some of the same one as you suggested.

If anyone wants to do theirs at the same time and gimme a hand, i'll be happy to have a six pack with some pizza handy lol :)

Sweet, how easy to do?

Thx.

John, it's so simple mate. Even for someone who is not good with the spanners.

Jack up the front of the car (Use car stands & chock the rear wheels) Take off the plastic undertray/sump guard (5x12mm bolts..3 at the front, 2 at the rear...& 2 screws inside the guard area), undo the bottom hose, let the fluid drain out, rip off the old hoses, install new hoses and use new clamps, fill with new coolant and bleed the system.

You could also replace the thermostat & seal for peace of mind (2 Bolts hold the thermostat housing to the engine at the engine side of the bottom radiator hose)

If you don't bleed the system you may end up with the "Waterfall sound" (Air in the system) behind your dash every time you start the engine.

There's tutorials on youtube on how to bleed a Subaru coolant system correctly.

YOU CAN DOOOOO EEEEET!

Oh man, you are a BOSS.... but even though sounds too complicated for me, i'll give it a go... just not confident with the coolant bleeding part but i'll give it a go lol!

Some parts are on the way, once i get them, i'll get cracking and keep you guys posted.

Cheers.

I'll put it simply then.

Take the hoses off, let the coolant drain. put the new hoses on, fill it up.

Get on youtube and search "how to bleed a coolant system" if you don't want any pockets of trapped air inside
