Has anybody had any first hand experience and testimonial of Whiteline's anti-lift kit for the positive caster it induces? Or caster in general?

I have rear sway bar, front one to buy soon, and have no idea how the car will perform with the ALK and so I just want to weigh up whether it's as much of a bang for buck suspension upgrade as the 20mm rear sway bar is.

Thanks.

I have an ALK.

Steering feels more direct and it holds much tighter around corners.

In terms of bang for buck, a nice thick (read: 22mm) swaybar is probably the way to go. I now have both along with many other various suspension upgrades and my Forester handles damn well.

I had an ALK on my 06 WRX. Stops a lot of nose dive under heavy braking (on the track that is). Probably overkill for street. Swaybars are where its at for the street.

I got the WL ALK fitted to gen 3 outback.

It was fitted as part of the full delift, so it's hard to tell the result of just fitting the ALK.

Pretty sure an ALK increases nose dive under braking.

I have a whiteline one, made a noticeable difference to mid corner grip and turn-in. I would say it's worth it, not as much bang for a buck as a rear swaybar but you do notice it for sure.

Ok well I've upgraded my rear swaybar to 20mm and I now have to choose between ALK and 20mm front swaybar.

If getting the front swaybar is going to promote understeer, I'll choose the ALK. I upgraded my rear swaybar specifically to try and reduce this, not further promote understeer.

Will be used for street and after reading everyone's comments, I'm still inclined to choose the ALK.

Suggestions?

I wouldn't bother with the front sway bar.

FSB is already well thick and it only increases understeer.

Spend money on other things.

OP, any reason you went with a 20mm RSB and not the 22mm?

I bought it when Wolf Racing Products were having a sale on Whiteline parts. I initially tried to get a 22mm one but after much delay from Whiteline HQ, Rhys was only able to get the 20mm 2 point adjustable RSB as the 22mm wasn't getting made anymore. I waited 3 months from the date of my payment, to receive it. At no fault from Rhys.
