Can't get the nut off the bolt, it just keeps spinning.

Need help asap and I'm in the middle of doing it.

it should have an allen key hole in the end of the thread

Same way you got it undone but in reverse. Remember to load the suspension to normal ride height

Yes but I can't have the socket head over the nut if I need the allen key to stop the bolt from turning.

Offset ring spanner or use vice grips to secure the socket.
