I'm a bit behind on this thread, haven't been getting notifications. I have it I just want it disabled. Is VDC the same as TC or not? Because I read on the fuse hatch it is ABS..

I'm a bit confused, how does your 2.5L have VDC? It was only a feature fitted to the 3.0L models.

VDC can be considered like a stability control or "ESP". Its just Subaru's version of it. Traction control is a bit more rudimentary and I suppose its one part of the whole stability control system.

IF you've got VDC, you can pull the fuse out to turn the sucker off. The MY00 H6 models foolishly did not come equipped with a button to turn it off and this is how people get around it...
