Maybe, but with a 80km/h limit and the fact that the road is very twisty, you would drive into the ocean if you were speeding.
I may well have got pinged on the straighter sections, but if I did I was only just over the limit.

I was on Thursday so I went to visit a mate who was camping near Lorne (coastal holiday town in Vic) as we were staying in Torquay (another coastal holiday town in Vic).
Drove right through Lorne and spent nearly an hour on the Great Ocean Rd.
WAS A FORKING EPIC DRIVE!
So enjoyable as, to my amazement, there was hardly any traffic and I had the road to myself. That NEVER happens.
I assume you embarked on that journey during normal hours of the day?

Sort of, I left Torquay around 8am.
Even at that time of day, givien the time of year, I expected to see more traffic. One thing was that the two cars I came up behind moved into the next available slow turnout with out any prompting from me. This is unusual, as on many occasions I have sat behind vehicles with my lights on (no tailgating, flashing hi beams, blasting the horn or general poor behaviour) only to have them plod along ignoring me. I'm hoping this occurs more often as it benefits the traffic flow greatly.
Last year I got a speeding fine when overtaking a painfully slow vehicle!

Before my girlfriend's dad sold all his camping gear, we used to go to Scone and a few other places once a year to go waterskiing. The only thing I dreaded was coming home to set up the tent again, get it cleaned out, aired and packed away again. I couldn't stand it.

Ha ha ha, were they all old school cars? There used to be a place we went to when a few cousins and I were younger where we made up a cubby house out of a few wrecked cars. We stopped going after people doused them in petrol and set them alight for no apparent reason.

Feeling old and fragile today.
Out at a gig last night, no ear plugs........IT WAS FUCKIN LOUD, BUT AWESOME!!!!
Also, my Visa debit card was restricted, just found out that it's been cancelled due to being skimmed.
That's one way to stop me spending money I guess.
Might go back to bed.
