For Jase;
So the bloke that taking out the old engine and putting the new one in (along with all the servicing, genuine parts, new radiator, etc) told me that he highly suspects a head gasket problem as well as possible bent valves most probably due to a stretched timing chain. The car makes a noise when you try to start it but nothing kicks over. I guess the easiest way to explain it is that electronically, it works, but nothing else seems to want to move.
I am being charged $4,000 for the following;
- new engine
- genuine Subaru parts including top and bottom radiator piping, power steering pipe, oil filter, nuts and bolts, gaskets for my exhaust (the ones used previously were incorrect), oil to flush and run the engine for 10 or so minutes, normal engine oil afterwards, coolant, spark plugs, etc
- new radiator
- blue slip
- labour
There may be a few things I have missed from that list but that might give you a general idea. There is three months warranty on the engine and he is stamping and recording the engine swap in the log book. All receipts provided for genuine parts purchased.
So, TV's that have ads playing on a loop, right Gaz?
Sounds like my job, it has that.
That's it, except they're updated automatically from head office (they're connected via ethernet I assume and at the click of a button new ads are added and removed from the loop).
I'm just advertising.
Cause I can.
