Too many guys ripping on bikes. I have been riding for over 10 years on bikes that make all the cars on here look slow. I can say that if you ride you can drive. Driving is easy compared to riding. I survive and I don't go slow. I reckon track days are great for everyone. I love cars and bikes (and tractor pulls, planes, ships etc). Unless you know what it is like to ride you don't know.

I rode for nearly 10 years and have been off bikes for over 10 years.

Yes it was fun.
Yes I enjoyed every minute of it.
Yes it can be dangerous.
Yes I fell off.
Yes as I got older I became more scared.
Yes I had mates killed or seriouly injured.

Perhaps each ones experiences are different.

+1 to unless you have done it .......

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yes I get fired up about it. I just want to have a go at 25yo large bigmac muncher typhoon drivers with a V8 supercar sticker that thinks they are awesome.

Rob, you're angry at the same thing we are. Tools that make the road unsafe. Riding a bike doesn't make you unsafe, the maccas munching p-plater wankers DO. I've ridden but ONLY in the country, only on dirties, so my opinion is moot.

Nice day today. Wish I had my licence.

My uncle was killed on a bike. His 30 year 'anniversary' was earlier this year and it was hard on all of mums family.
But Ill still get mine. Mums other brother rides and so does dad. My sister almost bought one a month ago too!

Nik, does that say 'skids'?

Yeah recently I have observed too many young guys with agression without a cause in Commos etc. I also have had too many conversations with ignorant people recently about how going fast on a bike is not as good as in a car. WTF? It has not been an easy week! People are mad right now. Its like saying I don't know what it is like and I don't like it so I must be right. As for young goons...............Ah
Time to zen myself before another struggle to work.

Full moon over the weekend.

Saw my fair share of fucktards.

Not hatin' on bikes.

Just the injuries we see as a result of riding them. They're the gnarliest.

I know you're not ;)

Lets just say, when old mate came back last night for his second operation (Lumbar fusion for an unstable spinal fracture), he appeared to be one of the sorts who believe society owe him lots.

Fooken 'ell.

I just got a quote with Shannon's Insurance. (just curious, i'm quite happy with JustCar)

Had to say I was 25 so I could actually get an online quote:

Imagine if they knew I was 21. I don't think they want the business.

I'm sure they're good value for older cars, but I've had the same problem.

Actually, the most expensive comprehensive quote I've received was from a local credit union (who I do bank with) for the gen2 RX. They wanted $5000 a year, for a car that cost me $8900 to buy. What a joke!

Maybe because I don't have an alarm system?
