You guy's must all live in a dodgy area.

I got a quote from Shannon's a few weeks ago. Insured for $15k (tom you're dreaming), driven once a week, garaged etc....$850.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

What??

Is that because you're an old man?

18k isn't the price it would sell for, but it is the price I have mine insured for. (to replace the car + mods)

* The sum insured is above the allowable maximum.

We're sorry, but we are unable to continue with your on-line application. Please click here to talk to Shannons or call us on 13 46 46.

Yeah, ya gotta think of replacement value, not sale.

I've got mine insured with AAMI for $21400 (agreed value) they know all the mods, costs $1240 p.a.Their value was $19000.

That was when it was still my daily, haven't actually looked into it since it hasn't been.

That's why your premium is so low.

Like how the Shannon's ads say "We now insure your daily drive. The car you drive everyday*"

*For a ridiculous cost.

I think they're generous.

Super-sizing your premium for free.

At Mcdonalds you have to pay for that privelage.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Also, ring the same place two or three times, you will get different prices each time.

None of the drivers have lost or had their licence suspended in the last 5 years.
None of the drivers have had a vehicle stolen or written off in the last 5 years.
None of the drivers have had any insurance cancelled or refused.
None of the drivers have had more than 2 motor accidents (including fire & theft) in the last 5 years.
None of the drivers have had more than 4 traffic infringements &/or offences (excluding parking fines) in the last 5 years.
None of the drivers have had criminal convictions in the last 5 years.

HAHAHAHAHA. Looks like I am WELL ineligible.

Just did a Shannons quote,

$18000 driven 1-2 days month was $1240.41, same as what I'm payin with AAMI as a daily with more cover and a lower excess = Shannons FAIL

Can't believe you haven't read my file?

Anyway.

JustCar only care about the youngest driver on the policy. Works for me, makes my insurance just over $1k for comprehensive + a $26k value. $400 excess.
