Misspelled?

Josh: You might want to look up Qatar for a minute before making that assumption. I think you'll find they are like the fourth highest per capita in the world?

i was also just about to point that. The plans they have for the world cup are AMAZING. they're building ALL new stadiums for the event that come apart like lego and can made into different sizes and stuff so can then be moved and changed to different configurations to make 23 (i think that's the number) smaller stadiums which they are going to donate to other developing countries after the event to help develop football globally. they also have a technology for regulating the temperate in an open air environment to keep fans and players comfortable at each venue which looks pretty interesting. they have the resources to make a truly EPIC world cup

Haha, I can't tell if you're joking so I'll answer you anyway. He retired a long time ago, pretty sure it was 94? Or maybe 95, something about gripping 600 games. What that dude did with Seton Hall in the states in the eighties will forever be awesome. There's a freakin' documentary about that team. Insanity.

Also, they are the 'Boomers', although that is a tarreeeble name - all you blokes getting uppity about me calling it soccer... remind me... what's our national team called?

Just sayin'.

haha yeah thanks for the Andrew Gaze career update mate :P

ps: just thought i'd also point out Russia is another country not short on financial resources for an event such as the world cup.

hmmm well Qatar looks pretty cool in that case!

Russia might do alright - they have only just once again found their feet economically... I guess in the next ten years or whatever they could be fairly strong financially

Watched this sports science doco or something the other day and it had some basketball dudes on there - they put sensors and shit in their boots to show how much force they were exerting when they were jumping up. One of the dudes could literally jump over a car was really cool to watch... Fuckers have some serious skill and strength to be doing that.

Serious question. If I had a Facepage for my business, would I be able to control the comments/thumbs down stuff? For example if a toe rag had a silly reason to try and negatively impact my business by writing poor comments - can I just delete it?

Does anyone monitor/control a Facepage for a business?

Nik, you need your own page before you can even make one.

Then you can control and delete anything.
