As of tomorrow I'll be starting to cook too. Katie goes back to work and won't be back home until 8ish.

You sound like Golem - "ITS OURS!! ALL OURS! WE WANTS IT!" hahaA little! It's not bad though. Im using our washing basket for our clothes bringing it back to our house, using our iron and putting it away in our cupboard.

also homemade pizza.. 3X price of shop
and sunday.. WTF, roast or GTFO its xmas time now man.. better get KT trained up now for next year xmas.
also then monday can be leftovers (cause who wants to cook on monday)
if there is one thing i miss about old school traditions.. its that my mum can cook amazing things.. out of what most would see as an empty cupboard..
What is it with people thinking OMFG no microwave.. how will i cook? no rice cooker.. WTF cant cook rice now.
FIRE POT WATER RICE.. its not that hard!
I count myself lucky that i am actually a pretty resourcefull person when it comes to cooking, i just know what works but some people seriously have no clue.. i must be getting old lol

Homemade pizza = 3x less price of shop.
I used to work at Eagle Boys. It was $8 for a pizza with no voucher back then and now it's like $10-12 or something ridiculous. Haven't bought a store pizza for a long time but seriously, $15-20 worth of ingredients including bases can make what, 6, 7 pizzas at home? = $3-4 each.
They taste better and are better for you too.

Basically it sounds as though they are bet that they can't do something and then they have to do it.

Depends on who you compare it with. The big el' cheapo chains - definitely. Joes pizza down the road - not always.
