I want to prevent oil surge at the track.

I want the new motor to be bulletproof, so I'm taking measures now to prevent this.

So far, the list of options are:

Moroso

Killer B

Hyperflow

Notes on research so far:

Hyperflow is made in Wollongong (close-ish). Australian made product, but requires extra oil (1L)
Killer B looks like a good bit of kit. But its in the States, requires extra oil (1.2L)
Moroso is over $1k, but holds standard capacity for oil (4.7L) (which I like the idea of)

An extra 1L of oil surely isn't that much of a concern is it?

Would be a pain cause it would need more than 5lts.... Unless you buy oil in bulk.

Most oils come in 5L and 1L though, it wouldn't be too hard to find the extra 1L. But might be a tad annoying if they're out of stock etc.

Morning.

Interesting finds Nik. Im not one for buying new cars. In my dads car history (40 odd cars over 30 odd years), he's only ever bought 2 from the factory. One being the Mini he just sold after 7 years. Depreciation just ruins the experience.
With second hand cars however, he's taught me his ways
Bought Barina for $5800
Sold Barina for $5400 (lost $400 in 15 months)
Bought Liberty for $8900
Sold Liberty for $8000 (lost $900 in 20 months)

The Pretzal does seem a big let down. Is the R a 2.5L?
The A/C knobs did surprise me too. But it seems all Imprezas/WRX's have them standard. Not sure if there even is a climate control option for them?

I can top that Morganus.

Bought my old Liberty for $7500 and sold it for $8000.

*I'm not mentioning how much I spent on it. :D

HEY! That car "looked" awesome.

It may have had cut springs and a blown head gasket. :D

I worked out the other day I've spent about 9 grand on my B4 in the one and a bit years that I've owned it. Shit. (mostly in gearbox, clutch, dent repairs) haha

I would hate to think how much Alex has spent on the Legacy in the time he's owned that...

My Outback has taken a hit since the new model, but whatever. I'd still get around $18 for it. If I still had the B4 I'd trade Ralph for his choc milk.

B4 prices are a disgrace the last couple of years.
