I put a bleed valve on.

I run 14psi.

I put on a twin stage electronic boost controller.

I run 16psi.

I went to Melbourne in 2010

I run 20 psi.

Productive morning already.

6 months ago I installed a leather gear boot in the OBK but to get the old one off I had to snap the little tabs. We tried so many different ways to reattach it but no avail.

So it's just been flopping around there for 6 months and annoying the crap outta me until this morning. When I came across a glue gun!!!

Now it's like a whole new car to drive

Been there done that. Glue don't do too well with the heat that comes up from gearbox. Eventually fails. Then you have hot glue chunks all over the boot and the surround.

So stoked that the undercover let me off last night.. She reckons I was doing between 80 - 100km/h, in a 60 zone along Anzac Pde. Turn down music, act polite, have manners.. "have a good night sir and please slow down".

Lucky mate... Need to be careful on Friday and Saturday nights.

Oh. And I have a little philosophy.

Why take out something inferior, to put something as inferior back in, when for similar outlay, you can go better?

I like the way you think. I stand by this too, if I have to save a little longer to get the best, I do.

When I removed the water crossover pipe the bolts snapped. Couldn't get genuine bolts, bolt shops had nothing suitable but I found some at autobarn. I measured them with my eyes and thought they were the same length. FAIL. They were 5mm longer so when I torqued up the first bolt -> CRACK! It is a fairly chunky piece of metal though where it cracked so it seems that it only cracked the flange bit where the thread is. Although it did leave what looked to be a hairline fracture along the top of the crankcase. After cutting down the bolt it still torqued up ok so I just used a stack of silicone gasket and reassembled hoping for the best. Seems ok so far but it probably won't hold up forever.

And TBH I don't think I really care, we could all probably swear a little less... me being one of the main offenders.

Yeah, it's a precompiled swear word list so I think some of them may be unnecessary. I don't necessarily have a problem with swearing as such, and I feel that a lot of people are OK with it to a certain degree - but there is a time and a place for certain words... I feel that it was getting a bit too potty mouthed around here at times !

Yeah fair enough, As I said - I don't care if they are blocked... just means we have to be more creative with our insults which is good for the mind just can't resort to tried and trusted swearwords LOL.

I just prepared part of my dinner, Tandoori chicken kebabs (now marinating for a few hours) and I will have a cucumber yogurty dip to go along with it (Havn't made it yet) Similarish to Tzatziki only slightly Indianised. Will serve it with some beer and a chilli dressed salad (I fooken love chilli).
