haha , yeah my bros mal was called Bear. We made a billy cart with lawnmower wheels and used to use him to pull us back up the hill. we had a proper harness too and he would pull us back up the hill faster than we would go down. much fun! then one day he chased a rabbit :| longest billcart run ever, but the cleanup was not fun.

Had one of these when I was a kid. Newfoundland.
Was difficult keeping an 80kg dog out of the pool!
Posted Image

Then an English Mastiff cross Bull Mastiff/Bloodhound who tipped the scales at at a slim 60kg but only made it to 4yrs. :(
followed by a Rhodesian Ridgeback crossed with Bull Mastiff.

Kinda like big dogs.
All of them were 'gentle giants'.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

MY05 Outback, Anyone got one? Nik, i think your pretty happy with your Gen4 Outback yeah? The b4 is giving me the farkin shits at the moment, might get rid of it while its still worth something, its done 178k km now and its only gunna plummet in value once it hits 200k. Spotted a nice looking MY05 3litre with the 5 speed auto for a pretty good price. Anyone know the ins and out of Gen4, got a feeling their was an update around MY05/MY06, anyone know when and what the differences/improvements were?

Whilst contemplating the universe over a cool ale in my backyard, I got to thinking bout Australia Day.

The way I see it is that someone/people would of eventually discovered this awesome place that we now call Australia (probably not too long after it was anyway). If it wasn't the English would we be living as good a life as what many of us take for granted today?

Don't get me wrong, I don't think it was right, fair or just to oppress the original inhabitants of the land, but that's the way things were back then (and for a long time before).

All said and done, it paved the way for us to be able to enjoy the things that we love about this beautiful country we all call home.

:drinks:

And I love dogs too... here's another of Buzz

The H6 is just an awesome engine when mated to the 5spd auto. Very much a cruiser, but can handle a decent amount of overtaking without troubling the fuel consumption too much. Driving with a reasonable amount of gusto I am average 9.4L/100k.

The upgrade as far as I know was purely cosmetic, front grill and a slight tweak to the rear hatch. The front bar moulds more into the grill section, and the rear hatch has a chrome bar running left to right which incorporates some extra lights - on the 05 these lights are just floating in the rear hatch - definitely a nicer look on the '06>>

The centre console on the '06 has been a bit more refined as well, with two circular bottle holders instead of two square holders with a roller screen like on the '05. The gear selector has been updated for classiness as well.

This is the 05 like mine;

Also I believe there was a tweak to the baby seat lock down points? Not being a Dadda I haven't really looked into it.

Also they have the more Libertyesque rims on the '06 built cars. I actually prefer the fat five spokes on the '05's but that's all personal.

That's about all I know mate.

That would be considered a 2006 built My07 Outback, just for reference. Otherwise it is the same as my '05. :D

No dramas mate, any more questions just ask away. The best part about the H6 engine is that it is chain drive, not belt. No stupid expensive 100k service for us!
