2 week mini review. Awesome Outback is still awesome. No pics because a)im flat out with work b)im really lazy c)its a stock Satin White Pearl MY07 Outback, google it :P The 3 litre plus 5 speed auto are a fantastic package, round town and off the line its better to drive than the b4 was. Overtaking is about the only place im missing boost at the moment. The flappy paddles are actually handy, great for knocking down a couple gears going down hill, dont need to touch the shifter, it will hold the gear till you touch the throttle again. Haven't driven many late models autos but this is easily the best i have. SI Drive is like that useless power button you see on most autos, but on crack cause it adjusts the electronic throttles response as well. Slow (I) makes it feel like a fully loaded auto L series (slow as f**k because you cant actually give it full throttle), S feels like a normal/slightly sporty auto. S# is mental, holds gears till 5or6 grand on light throttle and kicks down instantly. This is the third auto ive owned and its the first i have really liked (the other 2 got converted to manuals) 15 buttons on the steering wheel? (not counting the flappy paddles) I thought it a bit ridiculous at first but its actually pretty handy. Factory HID projectors, fucking ace. First suby Ive had with decent headlights. Very happy For now :diablo:

^Nice :) Is it one of those auto-boxes that auto-blips the throttle on downshifts? Some of these newer automatics are fairly sophisticated I must say...

Gahhhhhhhh!!!!
There is a car that i have found on carsales that i really want to look at tomorrow morning!
Since Tuesday, it has dropped over $4000 in price and its barely been driven in the 8 years it has been on the road (96,000kms).
So he's obviously really keen to get rid of it!
BUT HE HASNT LEFT A CONTACT NUMBER!!!! Who does that???
Ive sent two separate enquiries but havent heard anything!

Yea noted that. But i see it as a way to knock more off the price! Ive been keeping my eye on this car and this is what ive seen: Tuesday 16/2 - $15,000 Wednesday 17/2 - $13,500 Thursday 18/2 - $12,000 Friday 19/2 - $10,998 I wonder what is wrong with it!!!
