Actually i think the B4 and WRX's are recommended to be changed every 7500k's in the book.

^Really, only 7.5K?! If I had a turbo, I'd def be doing it more regularly. But in the case of Morgans - I forgot the fact that he drives it regularly, so certainly no need to do it ever 5K

Its not particularly necessary to change oil every 5k. Its been less than 12 weeks since i bought the car and ive nearly done 10k!
Far out how have you only done 1750 since March!!?

I believe turbos should be done every 5k but not worth it with the NA.

I'm more like 10k as well, between 7.5 and 10 anyway. At the moment with no licence, I'm probably going to be going by the date stamp interval! That's never happened to me in my life! Off to the surgeon in a minute. Let's hope I come back with all my insides!

I change my oil between every 5 and 10k, i do alot of k's also, a good 5-600 km a week. i run a lighter oil in winter so change it a bit more often. The DOHC has a longer service service interval than the SOHC though. my gen1 only gets done probably every 6 months but it is only driven to the shops and back a few days a week. does less than 200 a week.

I filled up on Thursday night. Ive already done 500 odd kms... Sucks. Another reason im looking forward to getting married. Atm she lives a good half hr away and im always driving between. Wanting to get her a new car soon too (either Gen2 GX or Impreza?) so we can even out the kms between the cars.
