When I insured the rex (22 days ago) I asked them to send me an invoice and make sure the insurance covered me from the day I picked the car up.
I accidentally didn't pay the invoice inside the 21 day cooling off period (which expired yesterday) so i rang them first thing this morning, said I was a fool and could I pay it now.
Turns out, either my suburb is safer or my car is safer or SOMETHING has changed that now makes my insurance $340 cheaper than the exact same details 22 days ago. Same car, same period, same garage just one month further along.
Weird, but my laziness has just saved me $340. Winner.
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

So, somehow my laziness has paid off.

SGIO over here, aka NRMA.
I've got house and 3 cars with them so I get some kick-ass multi policy discount. I save about $400/year just on the rex for the multi-policy discount.
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Yea Scott, I've currently got 3 cars with AAMI, as well as my past cars + my whole family's cars...
Will proably stay with them for the XT. In dads name the quote was $600 and about $800 in Katie's name. (~$1100 in my name!!)
Outback is currently in dads name at $800. Why would'nt I go turbo
