I would kindly tell people like that to view the car before talking dollar figures. There's a lot you learn about a car from seeing it in the flesh and interacting with its owner.

I never gave 'lowest prices' via e-mail. Only the prospect of a 'deal' if they saw the car.

Today was my first day off work in about 2-weeks. What do I do ? Take the car for a drive of course!

It was one of those epic driving experiences I'm unlikely to forget anytime soon. Headlight deep in water spinning all fours. Maintained a steady rate no dramas, but skillionairerules its thrilling!

Found another gem of a track. Loose surface meant oversteer, understeer, derpasteer you name it! More off-roading planned for Saturday and then again on Sunday with some of the lads from SC. Happy times...

Mines insured for agreed value $17500, more than I paid for it... same as others here, $950 with windscreen and no claim, with AAMI. Already had to use it though for the carpark fail at work.

Greatest quote fail I have is my mates WRX, RACQ (nrma here) $3k quote because he is under 25 - so he goes to NRMA, $850... cheaper than mine! NRMA quoted me over a grand, most did actually.

In other car news, we have a new edition arriving tomorrow, a 2005 Astra Equipe Classic hatch, in white. 97k on it, with a little spoiler.. and all the luxury bits.. that you can get in an Astra anyway. Parents needed a second car again after last week, my dad had a heart scare that had the symptoms of a heart attack. Not that I brought it up on here. Rushed him to hospital, it was a clot in one of the veins around the heart they reckon. So yeah, he is thinking its time to give up the courier/truck driving.

When I got my car no one would insure my car with it's mods apart from just car! $1200 for 13k value. Maybe I should shop around since I'm 24 now!
