Hi,

Geosquealers strike again! And bloody hell, are they still as expensive as they used to be?!

Cheers,
Nik

They're not cheap that's for sure. Cheaper/more economical to get a new or slightly used set with rims on eBay...

I liked the black theme you had going but I love those rims (biased).

Tyre choice is a bit limited for that exact size, but yeh I remember those G95's squeeled like a motherf**ker  Makes you look like a hoon driving about the shopping centre car park.

The rims came with 225/55 bit bigger than I wanted 225/50... Half the reason with the scrubbing... As my spare is 225/50 and doesnt rub on any corner

did a quick search on ebay for these geosquealers...

$139 @ Taleb Tyres with the exact quote "SMOOTH +QUIET" :sarcastic:

Is it just me Chris, or does it look like you're running some serious positive camber on the drivers side front? Maybe its just the angle the wheel is on?

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

The wheel is slightly turned but alignment is out, toe is pointing out after I did the superpro tie rod ends before the gearbox got done... As for camber I have no idea what its at... Will probably get it fixed 2mrw morning...

The only driving Id do after changing tie rod ends is straight to get an alignment.

Yeah man, if you haven't had an alignment after changing tie rods, I suggest you immediately go get one.

Well the novelty of the flutter and the turbo spool has worn off so decided to stick my stock airbox on and while I was at it stuck a Kobe Motorsport SFB on.. Will probably one day change my mind again a throw the CAI back on...

Since moving my headunit to the top of the dash, its now more of a reach to use any of the controls. I wanted something that i could mount either to the steering wheel or close by.

So I invested in a Clarion MF1 wireless remote. These were actually designed to be a marine remote, being a waterproof RF floating remote control however compatible with Clarion units with OEM Steering Wheel Remote Inputs.

Comes pre-programmed and has Up to 100-feet Range, No Line of Sight Required.

All is needed to connect is +12v ACC and a ground and plug the 3.5m lead in the remote jack in the back of the headunit

Mounted to the steering wheel... Not totally happy with where it is but it will do for now

Did you need a fascia kit to mount your double DIN up there? I don't know Foresters that well, but I thought that bin pocket up the top was not a standard size.

Can the control unit control everything (ie; sub-menus)?

No fits perfectly. Just need the pod housing

It controls everything except for the sub menu controls.. even with the remote that came with the headunit I could never control it...

I rarely go into the sub menus anyway unless its to adjust the bass/treble/mid range/sub

Ah ok cool.

Apart from that, hows the Foz going? Have you sorted out the scrubbing issues?

Good apart from recent front swap bar/link clunk and slight hesitation... Spark plugs are well overdue same for coolant... Just been way to busy to sort it out...

Yeh simple fix took the spacers off...

Had a little play this arvo with my 52mm prosport oil temp/pressure gauges, some sheet metal n some vinyl...

I wanted to keep the 12v socket which fitted perfectly next to the gauges... Just need to wire them up now...

Seeing as the sun decided to come out and I had some plastidip left over I thought I'd give the rear bumper an update as I had a few scratches from wear & tear and give it the series 2 SG look...

Next week I'll give the mudflaps a coat of the plastidip or some satin black paint or maybe even colour code them...

Looks good

Plasti dip seems to be the buzz word at the moment.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?
