Ahh that's right you're rich and can afford such conveniences as a kegerator. Hahaha
I think I'll have to do that conversion on my beer fridge come summer.
Especially if I can start producing some decent beer.

Sig worthy.

In my place once the temps start rising you cannot produce a beer that doesnt taste like it has been cut with fruit juice (not a good type either) without keeping the temps down,,, I really need to Posted Image'ing brew a batch, I have everthing here except for whirlfoc an time. LOL working all week this week, I have Sunday off but shall see if I have enough energy left to brew..

@Brett; I'm thinking of setting up a bit of brew kit after I get back from holidays, i've got a decent size granny flat type thing out back of my place with a dark room that's nice and cool most of the year round.

Might hit you up on some brewquipment suggestions.

I need to learn this shit. Too expensive to just buy it all the time.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

It's like 15 mins from my place, then about an hour walk in the bush. I took some GoPro footage for Walts, but it's all pretty shit so I'm not going to bother editing. it's called mermaid pools! Never been there! Pretty cool place! I'll grab a couple of pics Rach took of another bit above the waterfalls.

Haha yeah it's pretty awesome, thats why we are looking to buy out here! Going to try and get out there and actually visit some of the awesome places every weekend!

I actually took the photo with the graph or Nik, it's on the left and right hand sides. On one han it kinda ruins the natural beauty. But on the other hand it's kinda old and actually suits the landscape

@AMS I just did a really small all grain batch on my stove top. 15L stock pot from Kmart ($19), a meter of Swiss voile fabric from local haberdasher($7), grain, hops, yeast ( about $20 worth), 15L fermenter ($30).

Sig worthy.

No need for spell.

how many L did you end up with into the fermenter?

This was my first attempt, and I only got about 5.5-6L into fermenter. I was way above target OG so I could have cut it back with some boiled water, but I just didn't think about it at the time. I had more room in the pot at the start of boil too so I could have batch sparged with more.
In hind sight this could be a blessing for this batch as going by the taste of the wort, the extra strength could help balance the extra bitterness that I'm expecting.

Sig worthy.

That's a pretty solid turn out. How was it with that many cars, from a logistics point of view? Hard to get out of meet points? Hard keeping everyone together?

I went on an LS1 cruise with a customer of mine once. 108 cars. It was painful. Took over an hour to leave the first meet point.

Sig worthy.

Not too bad.
Blocked left lane of a three lane road so all cars out in about 10-15min.

Cruise was about 40k and took just under an hour but really spread out and mixed in with normal traffic.

In the good old days we used to cruise about 5kms under the limit in the left lane with headlamps on. The rest of the traffic stayed out of the line and it gave a really good road presence.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
