Just got a phone call from a staff member who recently went to Bali (seriously, I love how everyone tells me how great it is and not to knock it until I go - she was one of the WORST for telling me I'm an idiot and I should go and it's amazing and blahblahblahhhhh).

So, she can't make it in today, Bali Belly? Apparently a real thing? Nice goin' for someone that's a qualified cook.

I needed her to call someone for me and asked;

"Do you have a pen handy"

She replied;

My Sister went to Bali for a holiday and hated 98% of the time she was there. Reckons it was a filthy dirty cesspool and the people are aggravatingly annoying.
The only part she liked was being on the resort which she said got boring after a while.
I picked her up from the airport and she was excited to be home and does not want to go back LOL.

Just to clarify, I don't hate all my staff - we have a fantastic team here. It is truly amazing that with only about 12 people on the books, something goes wrong with someone at least once a day.

I sound heartless I suppose, but I am always nice and patient with them.
