That photo was taken in 1986, which I'm guessing would make that Ford out front about the same as seeing a VY parked there these days? Looks like an XF anyway.
I do wonder if the '86 shot is the original colour scheme? It would be nice if at least the fascia was kept in original colour scheme. Unlike Shazza's carbon fibre Corolla.
Interestingly the town seem to have added period light poles - cool touch.
Even more interesting, that phone box has NO scratchies on it. You live in wonder town.
