hahaha true, I personally would not put a Legacy garnish on my car.The 6 is stupid, but so are STi logos on Liberty's etc. The Chev badge, I can't really hate too much, a fair few blokes on here have LEGACY rear tail garnish on their Libs... no?

My point is, if you don't like a Chev badge on a Holden, then you'd be a bit of a hypocrite to be cool as cucumbers with STi logos on non-STi's. Who's to say they don't have import parts on their Commodore?

@Vicelore(sorry forgot your name): Not really, that's not really my point.

I think by doing a STI conversion you have almost earnt the badge.. Built not bought unlike the holden.. If they had gone to the trouble of putting the Chev engine in themself then i got no grief with them showing that badge ..

So it's even more legit than a conversion.
We're all different. We agree the 6 is silly. Maybe I'm too old.

Interestingly enough, the Holden front end/badges/etc. are quite sought after in the US for the front of the 'GTO' (Monaro) - it happens everywhere.
Everyone's a fuckin' snowflake.
haha I always wondered if in some paralell universe people were re-badging chevs and holdens.
Morning all!

Look what you started!
Stfu about badges!!!
Sc Calais is alright, bud. But I've never driven a v8.
Handling is non existant though. And I expected it to be faster. My car would munch it at the lights.

Get a pulley kit, and up the boost. They go heaps better once you've done that.
Yeah, nah. No doing that. It's thirsty enough as it is!
Also, this car is staying stock. But I might vinyl wrap the wood grain! Farout it's horrible!!!!

But by the same token, if you bought a Holden V8, you have bought a Chev V8. Whether you built it in your shed or not... it's a real thing.
It isn't specifically a Chev V8, it is a V8 made by GM that happens to be used across several of their brands including Chev and Holden, so by that token it is like badging your RS8 as a Lamborghini (only even further removed!) or throwing some Audi badges on your skoda because they have the same parent company and may share some of the same technologies.

Yes. It is. That's what I just said?

hahahahaha.
Adam removed the Subaru badge from the front of his car and replaced it with a donated star of David.
