Based on our initial drive, the quality difference between the Tunland and a HiLux is significant. Our test car had several squeaks and rattles from the dash and developed a loud vibration from under the dashboard.
There were other minor quality issues, most notably one of the test vehicles being temporarily unable to get out of low range after an off-road portion of the drive.
It is worth noting that the vehicles on the media launch had not be bedded in, beginning the test loop with only 11km on the odometer.

Cummins diesel = mine site fleet car?
They are using a "Cummins" diesel that is built under licence next door to the foton factory in China.

Yeah Nikko for sure, Cummins themselves are a good brand, they are well respected in the marine industry as well..
And in the Grove generator world, too!
Yeah I don't understand the car, I was just trying to understand the market for it. Surely they are targeting fleet sales...?

Adam, is there some sort of mud-runner/obstacle course thing this weekend here on the Coast?
Perhaps with less mud and more obstacles...
Nevermind. Found it!
This is what they've been setting up for this week right outside our building!
