So why are you selling the car Walts? what are you getting instead?

If I can squeeze about 12k out of it (which is still probably unlikely) I wouldn't mind getting my bike licence, an almost new bike for 5k, a cheap runabout and have money leftover.

Haha it's not at the moment.
At some Kombi specialist, it had a problem with the carb or something (I know nothing about carbs) but was running sluggish as shit.

As soon and it gets back we are starting, sanding, bogging, welding etc.

Yeah pretty keen to do it. Neither of us are particularly mechanically minded but we're both up for a project.

It currently belongs to a client of his. Has been sitting in a garage for 12 years when the husband passed away.

I imagine there'll be a fair bit of work needed to get it running/roadworthy again.

Dad only found out about it today and there is someone else looking at it for the same reason in the next few days... Hopefully they leave it for us!
