Are you doing the kombi up as a camper van? Or just cruiser?
A bloke mum works with is a vw fanatic, his importing a split screen one from england that was owned by Lewis Hamiton i believe.
If your stuck with engine parts let me know, pretty sure dad has a few spares in the garage

It has a pop-up roof and a kitchenete in the back.
Could be used as our wedding car still if it's done in time.

Your "stupid" asking price might not be that stupid. I reckon if a car is clean enough and straight enough, the buyers will come knocking. You know very well there are B4's out there advertised for more. I reckon you just gotta wait for that like-minded enthusiast who appreciates the stuff you've done to it. Maybe chuck some pics up of the interior. I assume that is also in good nick.

The truth is, there is no interior at all.Maybe chuck some pics up of the interior. I assume that is also in good nick.
It's just a milk crate that I sit on to drive it.
That's why the window tint is so dark, so people can't tell.

The interior is made of weapons grade uranium, smelted into unicorns.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.
