Just gunna stick with House Of Shaz for the time being, util something really jumps out at me like ShowUsYourTints did.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.

What are you exporting your videos as Pete? File type wise? What size are they coming out at?
Its taking ages for it to load in HD. lol.
Loved it Pete! Very well put together! Great song choice too. The only thing I'd see if you can change the white balance levels in your new software. Try and take some of the "yellow" out of the footage, and it should give a more natural look.

I have NO idea what file type/size I'm exporting at...that is all mumbo jumbo to me...I'll learn though.
I actually struggled to get my head around the Corel VideoStudio for the most part...it is quite different to what I've been using.
I'm confident that with some more time, I'll get it sorted and make something genuinely enjoyable one day.

Cheers Shaz...I actually tried to have a play with the colour correction, but my computer started chugging so badly that I undid that. I actually believe I need a new PC/Laptop soon if I'm going to get anywhere...mine is 5years old now...it was fruity then, but isn't anymore. I need me some 256k+ SSD action.

Pete, research proxy media, I dunno if your program has it. But it basically uses a low quality file for editing, and then you replace with the full quality for export.
Also, with final cut, it renders as you go, yours may be the same, try letting it sit for 10 mins or something and see if it pulls it shit together!

Yeah, my RAM preview is set at half resolution for preview so it renders quicker. It's good when you're chopping forwards and backwards all the time

It has the 'proxy media' settings...I just forgot about it till way late in the game As usual, I ended up getting a little frustrated, and just rushed it through to finish.
What I am aiming to do (I have started making/using storyboards so I have a goal before I start shooting) is to get a Video of Elvis together, where every scene starts and ends with his ball being slap bang in the centre of the screen, at approximately the same size every time...It will take a bunch of time to get right, but I think the end result would allow some awesome transitions and effects to be added in...
P.S. You guys are awesome offering up all this advice/information/help...it is greatly appreciated and I'm sure I'm already doing better Vids because of it

Nice skate Shaz...that should all work a treat. The 'Rig' I shot that footage on Yesterday was my gopro on the end of the hospital crutch I got...so much better than hand held

Here it is. I still havent made a tripod mount for it, but I will in due time. I added some track walls out of foam for some resistance, because it moved too freely before. I can pull them out as well if need be, and put them back in later.
