Should have waited for a swans game! those are awesome to watch. (except the last one I went to where they lost to the team who has a homeless toothless fan base).

i was hoping for a swans game actually, apparently they are playing well? (i wouldnt know, i barely follow the AFL)

me and a few mates are going to Sydney this weekend for a concert/gig sunday night, we decided to head down saturday to make a weekend of it, and a few of them are big AFL fans and wanted to go to the game, decided why not tag along. worth a look i reckon.

GC took the game right up to GFC on the weekend, so GWS might give you at least two quarters of effort against GFC, which should be worth watching. That's also only the second REAL home game for GWS? Should be a nice turn out.

:D

Swans are an awesome team, but they are one of the more boring teams to watch.

The beer will be downright rubbish, but the game is cool to watch!

Cheers Nik & Josh!

ive never been to the game of AFL, so will definitely be something new! love going to watch live sports no matter what it is, atmosphere is always something worthwhile i reckon, as opposed to sitting on a couch at home. hopefully its a decent match thats worth it.

ah well, will have to wait till Saturday night for some decent beers then.

SKODA SUDS

All the beer is CUB, so if you're able to get into members you can get Matilda Bay suds. Alpha Ale would make the day grow fonder.

Geelong will ultimately belt the shit out of GWS, so make sure you're there on time. I'd say the game will be over about 5 minutes into the third quarter.

The first thing that strikes you watching it live is how slow it appears compared to television coverage!

I'm surprised AMS doesn't want to talk about AFL this week....

No way! Chef and I were (well, I was talking he was pretending to care) yarning about doing a corn chip crusted chicken/beef burger patty for sliders. I was thinking like chicken strips, but using corn chips as the crumb, with guacamole, red onion and cheddar with a lime aioli on a milk bun.

Yep, I have in the past. Through Coles.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.
