I don't like getting praise. Makes me feel uncomfortable.
I think praise and recognition are two different things though. May be appreciation for the work you do do over praise? It's always good to get a 'thank you', but when people start putting your name all over the place and start bowing in your presence, I can't deal with that. It's my job after all. Hypothetically speaking of course.
