I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Oh really? I haven't opened the box yet. I won't have money to spend on tools for a while! I'll just grab one as a second battery eventually! Just saw they have a hedge trimmer!!!

Holes in metal can be filled, yes? no?

Anyway, lots of template making and trial fitting is next.

We are making a roof brace bar as well as a battery bracket to mount behind the passenger seat.

Re Routeing the battery cable via an in-cabin isolator switch for safety.

Also to do is re-locating the 4 port catch can to a more accessible place in the engine bay (currently mounted underneath the strut brace entangled with the IC piping)

Good times :)

I'm thinking about getting a 4ah myself ... but I got 2x 1.5's for dirt cheap!

The Ryobi +1 stuff is awesome...batteries are heaps cheaper now than when they first come out. Need some 4ah ones myself...still just running the 2 i got in the cordless drill starter pack thingo. Rattle gun is win. And the circular saw...so handy.

Ken Oaf.

Paid for itself years ago, I keep adding little bits of kit as time passes. A clever marketing plan if ever one was hatched.

i just hope they dont change battery types. hitachi did it, but they make an adaptor so you can use new batteries on your old tools.
