Yeah they do look nice from the side... wish the headlight was more modern, but yeah, they are pretty old in style like you mentioned, but sounds like a good first bike, apparently faster with a little more top-end power than the current 250R ninja, and yeah, because older, quite a bit cheaper... might check one out for the fun of it...

Definitely worth a look! Yeah the headlight is old and square... It was the bike I wanted when I first started looking like 6 years ago

Yeah.. the old square lights... not such a fan, not a fan of the old round lights, or the CBRs with the 2 round lights.. I like the headlights on new bikes...

Mate of mine crashed his a bit over a year ago. Good ones are getting rare these days so he stripped it and rebuilt it from the ground up.

Very interesting... Megan isn't too keen on me riding... but meh... I will if I want to... but she might not be so opposed to the idea of me getting a bike without rego and fixing/playing with it... then "test riding" it...

Need to clean up rusty headers. Paint black. Or buy black heat wrap and wrap them? What do you think woul look better?

Agreed... I've seen a few of them... nice bikes... feels good when you sit on them... but as everyone keeps saying... not enough top end power because 250cc..
