I suppose thats a given with all 250cc's. But every time I see A cbr250rr on the street, they sound like you have to ring there neck to get anything out of them.

Thats what it seems like... from what I've read, they keep to be kept around the 6-9000rpm mark to feel good... which is quite high reving... I think so anyway...
I was interested in the ninja 250 because apparently you can change the front sprocket so instead of hanging around the 9000rpm make at 100km/h you could be at around the 5500-6000 rpm mark, which I think would make a diff...

I was gonna say. High temp black paint. Perfect and it won't be over the top.

Purely for looks, mate! Price would put that one out of the equation.
Think I'll just grab a can of high temp and go with that!

GT650 is a very big bike too... lol... too big for me... I'm not a fan of the riding position on that...
Now I'm interested in a CBR250R... thanks Simo... lol.. not the RR, just the R... and found one with a pretty good price... $3000 for a 2011 model, but no rego
Might go check it out anyway... not far from my house... ![]()

Haha also did this today.
Hyosungs gt650r"s look very very nice in the flesh.
They really do.
I know they're not bad for an Asian bike but I can't seem to sway from the thought that they are the Kia/Hyundai of the bike world. Even if they are getting better, it's still a Kia.

My mate had one, it was a cool looking bike, and went well but almost every time he'd ride it, when he would sit at traffic lights idling sometimes it would just stall, always start again, but he could never fix it and neither could the motorbike shop.

Yeah i read about that. Its a common thing with the carby older models.... I think. The newer efi's dont do it, apparently. My mate had one, it was a cool looking bike, and went well but almost every time he'd ride it, when he would sit at traffic lights idling sometimes it would just stall, always start again, but he could never fix it and neither could the motorbike shop.
Yeah that really doesn't really bother me. I think the resale on them isnt good though..........which probs comes back to what morgan said. They really do.

I don't know... I guess I'm worried that with a bigger bike, I'm more likely to drop it, or more that if it starts to fall, I won't be able to hold it up... ![]()
Anyway, dude with the Honda is nice and said he will let me test ride it... so we'll see how I go.. will check it out tomorrow evening...
If I could find a good GS500F, I would... but they are hard to find for a low price...
Might take another look at the gt650r. but the one I sat on in the dealership was insanely big... we'll see...
