Haha... I know man... just one of the guys I went to check out a CBR from said he was riding his around a national park, and came off it, skid quite a distance, but lucky he was wearing his kevlar jeans... but he said the skin on his leg fused to the kevlar and he showed me... looked back, but like he said, could have been way way worse...

Having a layer of skin fused to kevlar is better than leaving a snail trail of flesh on the bitumen.

Agreed. Love that duke. Still seriously considering the 390 duke. There has been afew second handers around for sale for $5500-$6000 with only 2000-3000kms. Good saving over new.

100km/h wind @ 5 degrees does get chilly though.

Not just cooler, much easier to put on, a lot more comfortable, and not as heavy, I can't believe how much lighter it feels.
Also, these jeans are very comfy, need to lose a couple more kgs and inches off my waist, but still comfy.
