Did she just assume she could move out and take the little one too or did you guys talk about that?
No there was no discussion at all mate. I expected it to be that way though. Thank god she's only a couple minutes up the road so i'll get to see my boy a lot.
The only positive thing she's contributed is her knowledge of the child support system. I have to thank her for how she's gone about the whole thing.
She's not pursuing any assistance from me and is declaring custody at 50/50 which entitles me to some tax *braques, a portion of the family payment part B and also some rental assistance. I don't feel bad taking these funds from the Government, I've paid tax all my life and now it's time to get some benefit from it.
And frankly, I'm going to need all the help I can get financially.

Ahh right! well good to hear that she isn't trying to rape you on that stuff... one of my work makes gets hammered by his bitch ex-wife on child support, he has to be pay way more than he should - she uses the cash towards holidays and stuff.. farking wrong, it pisses me off that courts seem to favour the women in those situations.

Most definitely Josh. The whole CSA system is a fucking disgrace. I paid a ridiculous amount to the mother of my first born child. She too was one of those types with children to multiple fathers getting payments left and right. She earnt 3 times what I did!
I don't mind contributing in fact I insist on it. It's the right thing to do.
But the system is a shambles. Every tax time I would end up losing a large portion of it because of incorrect estimate of earning assessments

THEY do the fucking estimate!!!! not the father and they just can't get it even close to right.
After 18 years of paying, I got a phone call saying they'd stuffed up for the 20 billionth time and my payee actually owed me thousands. I waived that money only to be contacted a week later saying that figure was incorrect and they still owed me $30.
Typical really.
I told them to fuck off and not contact me ever again.
Thanks for all your support boy's and thanks for letting me vent this shit. I'm embarrassed and a little ashamed to do so on a public forum.
I do need to get all this off my chest, and seriously, I value your support and I do feel much better having done so.
