I think that should be implemented in jobs where you work a lot out of the office, I used to get paid 4 extra hours a week in a Manager job due to the expectation that I would be doing 4 hours of work at home a week, which was true most weeks. I would also use most of my 30-45min drives home to call Staff and conduct supervision/mentoring over the phone, and as it was a 24/7 operation I would get calls/txts at all hours.

 

I think Virgin will benefit greatly from this policy, especially considering Qantas is forever pissing off it's employees/pilots.
