Stainless would be 100 times lighter too! I would only do the concrete if the BBQ wasn't moving and I had a rangehood to suck away the BBQ funk

Well..... Would you need a rangehood if it were in the middle of the backyard?

I take my Weber with a camp table when I go somewhere, but a sink would be a sweet idea.

$259 with frame, from IKEA.

At the moment I have the BBQ under the eaves of the house so I can cook in the rain. But I move it out when sunny so it doesn't dirty the house.

A nice little "lean to" shelter would be good! Now you've got me thinking abou landscaping my back yard haha. Jerk

Mate, from a guy marrying into a Greek family, it's all about the outdoor kitchen. Don't stop at a lean-to, build an entire small building to house your 6-burner, sink, 2 fridges and Rangehood. That's why I was looking at stainless counter tops for when I get a house. Nothing beats cooking outside.

Sweet, that's only 6km away from me.

But you know I'm not Portuguese right?

No joke, the in-laws have fake grass over the concrete in the backyard. It was real grass, until they concreted it .

Yep, I think the thermometer is the only 'special' part - but it's the part I want.

Why not charcoal? With me it's the effort. And I don't actually know how to light it up!

Effort/neatness.

I am starting to think about a fire pit though. Lots of rocks around while I've been clearing the property... has me dreaming of a big open coal pit, might trial it at MDSC.
