I looked at a Q for camping.

 

Didn't suit my needs as it takes up a lot of room for such a small cooking surface. Impossible to cook for a family and the full size version is way to big.

 

 

Good Lord, What do you eat man? Elephant steaks?

 

I've had no problems cooking for 5-6 people with the small one. But I do recall sometimes doing it in batches.

 

You're right, it does take up a lot of space in the car, and so does the gas bottle. I have no dramas cos there's 2 of us, so back seats get folded down. Wouldn't be too bad if you could get a small gas bottle, and remove lid.

 

As for taking up space on a bench, it's not too bad at all. Best thing is how light it is and easily moved. And grill plates fit in the sink to be washed.

Yeah man. Losing team after one goal swaps with the team sitting off. There are usually three teams, so any less and they just swap however many people are there. Keeps the game flowing and gives people a bit of a breather. It's on tomorrow. I can let you know if we need people?

So you're saying you have a 15 man team, and just rotate the whole team throughout the game?

15 people, three teams, rotate after each goal. Loser comes off. Continues until out allotted time runs out (1.5 hours). I think we start at 8 PM.

Nope.

 

My school had it as a subject, we used to go to Regionals every year and clean up, take 3 teams and usually get 1st and 2nd, and sometimes 3rd. 

 

I haven't played a proper season for about 6 years, but have played a few games here and there during my old job.  

 

But it sounds like your comp is a bit of a friendly, I was hoping to get into a serious comp, that allows barb wire in the boots etc.

Use the "primus" style stoves, Jase?

 

I use a 3 burner stove mounted in the kitchen, this allows a pot and a frypan to be used together. Wont fit on a 2 burner.

 

The BBQ is a 2 burner with folding legs, grill on one side, hotplate on the other.

 

Like this but smaller.
