Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Easiest option for the loom is another splice hey.. So gonna source a V7 STI loom and then yeah get it spliced in with my GTB loom

so your next step will be pulling the fenders, Grill etc from the GTB, Dash out .. The front frame on the lib is a JDM one btw to allow space for the FMIC so might be worth swapping that in the process.

Nah likely pull all your old car apart first to then be one less car in the drive way haha

And I did notice that, I've got the same front frame on mine.. Pretty impressed they didn't have to remove anything to make it fit tbh

I might be missing something, but why not just use the Liberty loom if it's already spliced?
Is there really much legacy specific stuff in the engine loom?
I guess there's minor bits like window washer wiring differences.

I guessed there may of been wagon specific ones, But I did wonder if that was the 3rd loom as i never pulled that from the car. so it may just click in.

Ive also go a feeling the wiring for the front rad fans etc are custom and may of been changed after the loom was spliced..

Its more so the wiring for the dash and eveything that is different, as I'll be using all the engine wiring as that isn't what gets spliced..

Cause yeah at first I thought I'd be able to use the AUDM loom to but I emailed AM auto and they said it wouldn't work which makes sense.. So yeah for the least headaches just gonna get a fresh loom splice done.
