Interested to see this color, I would have thought the stock gold brems would suit very well with the black on black
Time will reveal it haha, the gold could've looked good but I really despise the colour so it got changed

You could barely call it spinning tyres haha considering there were skid marks all along the next street from one on e85

Ah no good mate.
Tinted tail lights are never good, most guys will warn you against them, they also fork you for insurance as well.

Not sure if I'll put them back in or not because they are easily visible still

So were they on the car when you bought it? That's dodgy.
But yeah, a dark car with tinted taillights is the equivalent of a "I fork Policeman Wives" bumper sticker.
I think once the lights are sorted you won't get hassled for wheels again.

At least in Shepp that's the upside of domestics etc that keep mr plod busy :/
I reckon once you've got those brakes on it'll just be a beacon for them... time will tell.
You could've been really cheeky and asked the officer to see their RWC licence/mechanic's qualification...

My parents don't mind, they know it's bull about the wheels and that the tail lights were borderline so it's all good.

Like is said, that's Benders police for you. Highway patrol I bet? And one or two officers? Only asking as a colleague of mine was saying that state wide officers must be working in teams of two when on patrol for OHS reasons.
Best of luck with the roady. I'm guessing you'll do the brakes after this has been sorted?
Cheers
Bennie
PS: Shame there's not a complaints department for this - probably a reason for that!

Yeah it was highway patrol, two officers. One about mid 40s who was pretty nice, he checked my license and breathalysed me while the younger one (probably mid 20s) walked around the car and he was a bit of an ass
Hopefully I'll get a set of tail lights quickly, get it cleared and brake install can still go ahead in the holidays
